Bioplix aims to transform waste from crustacean shells into high-potential products, minimizing the extraction of natural resources. The startup’s main product is a biodegradable, biocompatible and non-toxic coating that protects foods in the post-harvest stage against fungi, bacteria, viruses and insects, enabling the extension of their shelf-life.
